AI product ads: from one image to a campaign
AI video can multiply creative directions, but it should not multiply confusion. Begin with an accurate product asset, one audience problem and a testable campaign idea.
Prepare a clean source image
Use a sharp, well-lit product image with visible packaging and enough resolution for the intended format. Avoid reflections that obscure labels. If exact product shape or colour matters, prepare several approved angles and a list of features the generator must not change.
Choose one job for the advertisement
An awareness clip, product demonstration and retargeting ad need different hooks. Define the audience, platform, offer and final action. A useful creative brief can fit on one page.
Build three creative routes
- Problem and solution: open with a recognisable need, then show the product’s role.
- Product desire: use lighting, texture, movement and sound to make the product memorable.
- Proof and detail: highlight a verifiable feature, demonstration or customer-approved result.
Plan modular shots
Create a hook, product hero shot, feature moment and end card as separate components. This makes it easier to combine several openings with the same approved body and call to action. Keep text overlays in the editor when spelling and regulatory control are important.
Protect product accuracy
Review packaging, labels, quantities, colours, materials and physical behaviour. Generated visuals can invent text or alter proportions. Do not publish a beautiful clip if it misrepresents what the customer receives.
Adapt for the feed
Design vertical first for Reels, Shorts and TikTok. Make the opening understandable without sound, add legible captions and keep important elements inside platform-safe areas. Export a deliberate square or landscape version where required.
Test variables, not random videos
Change one meaningful element at a time: hook, first frame, setting, pacing or call to action. Name every version and link it to the correct landing page with campaign tracking. Judge qualified clicks, basket actions and purchases—not views alone.
Rights and disclosure
Use product, music, voice and reference assets you are allowed to use. Obtain permission for identifiable people. Disclose synthetic media where omission could mislead the audience, and never fabricate demonstrations, testimonials or endorsements.
